Modular air handling unit from VTS America at the University of Florida Smathers Library

A VENTUS modular air handling unit from VTS America Inc. has been installed at the University of Florida Smathers Library in Gainesville, Florida. The unit was meticulously designed to handle airflows of 7,000 cubic feet per minute (cfm), ensuring optimal ventilation and air quality in the library.

One of the main challenges encountered during the installation was transporting the air handling unit to the mechanical room, which could only be accessed through a single door. VTS America Inc. managed this challenge efficiently, delivering the unit in approximately 28.8-inch sections. This modular design facilitated transportation and installation in a confined space, demonstrating the flexibility and ingenuity of VTS America's solutions.
