American VENTUS Modular Air Handling Units with aluminum impellers

In accordance with UL 60335-2-40, all American VENTUS Modular Air Handling Units manufactured by VTS America will include aluminum impellers as a standard. This change will cover both AC and EC motor applications sold in the United States and Canada, and it applies to all units shipping after January 1^st, 2024.

The Key Benefits of our Aluminum Impellers:

The new aluminum impellers are designed to be a direct replacement to our composite impellers and are completely interchangeable.
The overall efficiencies of the aluminum and composite impellers are nearly identical.
Impeller inlet cones now come standard with a pressure pickup tap for airflow calculation.
